I grew up in a small town called Pampa, no it's not in Florida. Every year the high school band brought in a carnival as a fund raiser. I LOVED the carnival so much. My dad was one of those guys who loved to play the games and wanted to try all the treats. Well now I love rides, I love corn dogs and cotton candy, I can hardly pass a funnel cake with out actually drooling, and I not so secretly want Taylor to win me the BIG stuffed animal. I love fairs, carnivals and theme parks. I try to drag the fam to every function for a hundred miles. Maybe there is some sort of nostalgia a sense of home, maybe the deep fried every thing really is that good. We went to the Main street art festival this weekend and it was okay. I learned that art is really expensive and corn dogs ROCK!

What the innies can't do

My mom, bless her heart tried to make me girlie and lady like. You all know that didn't really work (despite her BEST efforts.) The good news is Maggie Water tower, Taylors one true love is however lady like. She never sits down without crossing her legs first!

How committed to your addictions are you?

Cooper, our super spunky 3 year old is full on addicted to chocolate. I venture to say he could shame chocoholics everywhere. On halloween we went to a church carnival. There were dozens of games to play and candy was the prize for each one. As we progressed from game to game Hunter collected some serious loot. Cooper on the other hand would play the game, examine the candy and anything not chocolate he would wave his hand at and say "no thank you." Those workers had no idea why he refused their candy. Fast forward to Easter. We had 4 egg hunts this weekend and Cooper opened each egg, removed the candy, ate all the chocolate and gave away all the non-chocolate candy. Imagine his disappointment when Hunter found the Wonka golden egg. This was a giant gold foil wrapped chocolate egg. Hunter quickly opened the egg, bit a hole in the top and dumped out the fantastic prize of 4 sweet tarts inside. Over it, he gave his drooling brother the giant egg. Cooper took a giant bite out of the egg. He eats the bite and looks at the egg confused and says "How can this be yucky?" I guess he has also become a chocolate snob! He put the egg down and went back to eating cadbury eggs whole! Do they have a group in CR for chocoholics?
